Dear Unity Church of North Easton Members and Friends,

 

The congregational budget discussion meetings that were mandated at the Annual Congregational Meeting on May 20, 2012 are scheduled for the following dates:

  • Thursday, June 28 at 7:15pm to 9:15pm in Parish Hall 
  • Wednesday, July 11 at 7:15pm to 9:15pm in Parish Hall 
  • Thursday, August 2 at 7:15pm to 9:15pm in Parish Hall 

The first two meetings offer you a chance to explore the range of possibilities of ministry for the future, and also to discuss the cost of various options. These meetings will be generally the same, giving folks an option to attend one or both nights to explore the broader picture.  

 

Meeting three, on August 2, will review the compiled outcomes of meetings one and two, and define a time-frame by which to balance the budget. Please note that it is clear that we need a balanced budget soon, the only question is when and how.

 

The next step after meeting three is for the Executive Committee to create a balanced budget, having taken congregational input from all the meetings into consideration, and present that proposed budget to the congregation at a Special Congregational Meeting by the end of September.
