Our Adult Forum in the Sanctuary this Sunday will be led by our own Jayne Sprinkle. Jayne will present Music in Liturgy. Have you ever wondered why music is such a large part of worship? The verb sing (including song and so forth) occurs 309 times in the old testament. We will begin a discussion of music in worship including why did we sing that hymn on Sunday? Please join us in the Sanctuary at 9:30 a.m.
There will be a Youth Meeting this Sunday, April 29th from noon-2pm. All young people in grades 6-12 and their friends are welcome. Lunch will be provided. Stephen Bennett returns to Saint Patrick's this evening at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at the door. Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students. Under 6 years is free. The Building and Grounds Committee will sponsor a spring property clean up day on Saturday, May 19th from 8:00 am until Noon. No experience necessary! Contemplative Outreach of Charlotte will sponsor an Introductory Centering Prayer workshop on June 16th. Our rector highly recommends this workshop for anyone interested in cultivating and deepening their prayer life.
