In preparation for the winter camping season a Beaver Work Day(s) will be held at Wah Tut Ca Scout Reservation on Thanksgiving weekend. All that share a love of camping and the outdoors are invited. Help get the winter cabins ready and put the rest of Camp to bed before the snow flies. Had a little too much to eat on Thanksgiving Day? You could work it off.
Service Projects - The Campmaster Corps will be concentrating on stock piling firewood and getting the winter cabins ship shape. The Property and Maintenance Committee will be working on various other projects and getting the rest of Camp ready for winter. Projects will be age and skill appropriate and, as always, more advanced projects will be available for the talented. (Please note: All hours of work count for WTCSR 75th Anniversary Unit and Individual Tradition of Service Awards.)
Lunch - Is Free!A Hobo Trail Lunch will be provided to all workers and helpers on both days.
Overnight Option - Adult workers are welcome to stay overnite on Friday the 25th at no charge. Youth are also welcome, however, adult leadership from a troop or parent is required.
What to Bring - Your enthusiasm, work clothes and gloves, chainsaws, and any tools that you think would be helpful. (Please note: Chainsaw usage requires full safety gear and approval of the Camp Ranger.)
Come for either day or both and stay overnitght on Friday!
