About Our Camps

Every young person who comes to my camp is very special to me. My number one goal is for each camper to have fun playing soccer and to feel good about themselves. If I can make the sport fun then the necessary work to become good will take care of itself. Even when I played profession- ally the sport, practice, the comp- etitions were always fun. As a result I spent many hours on perfecting my skills. ... I like to think we teach more than soccer skills. I think one's attitude on the field is directly cor- related to one's attitude in life. I want young people to never ever give up!!

Keith Van Eron is a former professional goalkeeper and is the only goalkeeper to have played in the first 10 MISL seasons with the best winning percentage in the history of the MISL. He now works year around with youth soccer players. He has been coaching youth soccer for over 20 years.

 Wow, what a great weekend! The Saturday Travel league and Sunday Co-ed league wrapped up with some exciting finishes (for the full story click here). Session 2 for those two leagues starts this coming weekend (February 4/5), so hurry and register to make sure your child/team has a spot! The Saturday Co-ed league got pushed back a week due to weather, so the season ends this coming weekend for them and Session 2 starts February 11th, so there's still a little time to register. We are at it again! On the heels of our packed Baltimore Blast Clinic, incredible Goalie and Skills clinics and the fantastic time we had at the Blast game, we're doing it all again! Indoor Soccer Session 2 Starts in February!
Keith hosts co-ed youth soccer leagues all year long. In the Winter he runs an Indoor Soccer league on Saturdays and Sundays at the arena, plus a new Indoor Travel/Club League on Saturdays starting February 4, 2012. For the co-ed leagues, all skill levels are welcome and every kids plays. These leagues are organized to keep each teams competitive and each concludes with a championship game. For the new Indoor Travel/Club League on Saturdays, teams are entered from local Travel and Club programs. All Co-Ed leagues include an opening and/or closing BBQ for the whole family!

KinderKicks
WINTER KINDERKICKS CLASSES NOW ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS!
Remember if your child misses a class you can go to any other Kinderkicks class during that week. Limited spots available on weekends. Sign up quickly to assure your son/daughter a spot.
January-March: EIGHT WEEKS of one hour classes to help with skill training.
KinderKicks is a unique soccer experience for young children starting at age 3 with classes for separate age groups. The kids will learn the fundamentals of soccer in a positive, fun, and encouraging environment. In Fall, Spring and Summer, the program will be held at Oregon Ridge Park. The soccer fields are located on Shawan Road 1/4 mile west of the Oregon Grill, (not at the Oregon Ridge lodge). During the cold weather months classes will be indoors at our new Indoor Arena. Each session is one hour weekly for 8 weeks. The cost is $125/session.

School Year Camps

If your kids are off school chances are good that Keith is running camp! These one day and week-long camps are held almost every week day that school is not in session. The camp is open to all boys and girls ages 4-16 regardless of soccer experience and is a great way for the kids to keep active during spring break and do something very positive.
School year camps coming up:
- February 17, 20 (President's Day)
- March and April during all Spring Breaks
Early drop off as early as 7:30am or pick up as late as 6pm. Camp includes indoor soccer training from professional and college players, transportation, lunch, soccer games and competitions throughout the day. Camp is held at our indoor arena facility at 336 Clubhouse Road in Hunt Valley. Half Day is $35. Full Day is $50. First two siblings pay - additional siblings are free!

Our new After School Soccer Skills Program that mixes soccer and fun with quality after care activities. We will pick your child up at the conclusion of school and drop back off at the school by 6pm or parents can pick up at the Indoor Arena in Hunt Valley. The after care program will be a combination of soccer, other sports, free play and homework time for all the kids plus a snack.

Goalkeeper Training
Keith offers training sessions for goalkeepers of all levels to learn  correct technique and hone their skills. All sessions are limited in size so that keepers get personal attention.
During the school year, training consists of four weekly lessons held Saturday afternoons from 4-6pm. Starting in December these are indoors at the arena.
During the Summer, training is held for one week in the evening Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 5:30-8:30pm at Oregon Ridge Athletic Fields. The cost for four sessions (school year or Summer) is $195.

The Arena
XBox and Wii are hooked up to huge TVs in the new game room. Plus, we now have the biggest and best Beyblade stadium in Baltimore. My INDOOR soccer arena is a place for the whole family. We have two enclosed astro-turf soccer fields, electronic scoreboards and seven BIG screen TVs. We also have a ping-pong table, two foosball tables, an air hockey/pool table, amusement games, a pinball machine, and a NEW GIANT moon bounce. We also have a full service snack bar and a new ice cream machine. I want the kids and families to play soccer and have fun when they come to our facility.
INDOOR ARENA DIRECTIONS:

- We will swim every day for full day campers
- We will switch our amusement park trip to Six Flags of America
- Monday thru Friday all outdoors at Oregon ridge from 9-12
- Full day campers will continue to play indoors in the afternoon and get to swim everyday
If your kids are on summer break then summer camp is in session! Camps are weekly with full (9am-5pm), half day (9am-12pm) or Afternoon (12pm-5pm) options. Coaches include professional and college soccer players who focus not only on the skills but on the FUN and sportsmanship. Extended drop-off and pickup available at no charge (7:30am - 6:00pm). Half Day Outdoor (9am-12pm) is $150 per week. Afternoon Indoor (12pm-5pm) is $250 per week. Full Day is $345 per week.

 March 2nd Baltimore Blast Game DetailsJoin Keith and staff for the soccer experience of a lifetime and the last regular season Blast game of the year! We'll start the evening with use of the Blast turf field (kids and parents) at the Baltimore Arena from 4:30-6:30pm. After that, we'll head to our own private party room for pizza, soda, beer and possibly a visit by Blast players for autographs (bring a Sharpie!). After that we'll head to our seats to cheer on the Blast against the Wichita Wings at 7:35pm.  All kids who register and pay ($10) for the February 19th Blast Clinic receive a ticket free to this event. Kids that are unable to attend the Feb 19 clinic can still come for $10. All parent tickets are $25 and everything can be purchased on our website here. Please arrive at 4:15pm and go to Gate E7 to receive your tickets and early admittance for pre-game festivities. Tickets will be waiting in the name of the person that purchases (or designated in the Comments box). Hurry as we have to limit ticket sales due to space constraints on the turf and in the party room. Hope to see you there! |
Session 1 RecapsThe first indoor session has been the most successful ever in the arenas short existence. I know it's not perfect, but my hope and dream is that all of the kids have fun and the parents too. Thank you parents and kids for such a wonderful first session! Travel LeagueBoys U6 - The championship was won by undefeated Chelsea coached by Greg Jervier and led by the amazing, unstoppable Trey Jervier. Boys U8 - After going winless in the Thanksgiving tourney, the undefeated Baltimore Blast 2 beat Blast 1 in the finals and was supported by the phenomenal player Ryan Kelly (a definite future all American in soccer) and Ben Vorsteg. Girls U8 - Undefeated Parkville United, coached by Tony Danza had their toughest game in the championship vs the Maryland Sharks, but they got the win led by Sarah "The Beast" Klink, Hannah "Banana" Zinn and Lucy "Gucy" Van Eron. Boys U14 - Undefeated Perry Hall Revolution won an amazing game Sunday evening over Charles village 23-22 to claim the league title. They were coached by the nicest man Coach Cook. Boys U16 - Calvert Hall proved the class of the league led by the gentleman coach Rick Langford. Sunday Indoor Co-ed5/6 - The most thrilling and well played 5/6 game I ever witnessed was won by Barcelona over Manchester United. The game had 10 ties as the score went back and forth. Regulation ended tied 12-12 and went to shootout to determine the championship. Ellie Long tied the game and Stefan Garfenlikis scored the decisive shootout goal 7/8 - Won by Barcelona 14-8, they went undefeated and were anchored by Jeremy Bershak, Michael Bernstein, and Luca Van Eron. 9/12 - A highly talented St Thomas team beat Liverpool in an exciting final 19-16.
