Achievements
The Academy Prep K-8 Chess Team, led by Mr. McNair, successfully defended their regional championship title for the fifth straight year (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011)! In addition, the newly formed K-5 Chess King Cobras team earned 3rd place in the regional competition. We are proud to announce that this was our first major event in which our teams included young ladies. Chess is a challenging game that engages memory, critical thinking, and discipline. Congratulations to our chess champions! |
