Target Water Temperatures for Our Chillers

The ideal temperature of hot water coming into one of our chillers is 194oF, but the chiller will operate with hot water inlet temperatures down to approximately 125oF with a reduction in capacity.

The target cooling water inlet temperature is 85oF; lower temperature increases capacity.

The target chilled water outlet temperature is 45oF, but we can design chillers with chilled water outlet temperatures from 38oF to 68oF; higher temperature increases capacity.

Advantages of ECO-MAX™

Adsorption Chillers

* Long life
* Minimal maintenance
* High reliability
* Continuous operation
* Use waste heat (or solar thermal)
* Negligible noise, vibration
* Ultra-low electricity consumption
* Wide/lower hot water temperature range
* Low carbon footprint
* No replacement of adsorbent
* No HCFC or HFC refrigerants (unlike mechanical chillers)
* No harsh chemicals, no corrosion, no crystallization (unlike

   absorption chillers)
* Made in the U.S.A.

We've Been Investing in Manufacturing

Power Partners has made significant factory investments in the ECO-MAX chillers product line it began manufacturing in 2009. In addition to rearranging existing equipment, the company installed new equipment, including a 30 ton crane, wash and paint booths, material handling equipment, and a silica gel module production line and test facility. Our world class test facility has a 10 million Btu capacity, meters calibrated to NIST, flow rates from 5 gpm to 2000 gpm and full diagnostic capability.
Recent and Planned Chiller Shipments
Embassy chiller
This chiller will soon be found to a new U.S. embassy in Liberia.
Destinations Include a U.S. Embassy in Africa and a Major U.S. Military Base

Power Partners has been manufacturing ECO-MAX adsorption chillers for more than a year. The products that have been shipped include chillers for a new U.S. embassy in Africa (150 TR, Trigeneration), a community college in New Mexico (30 TR, Solar), an architecture firm in Georgia (40 TR, Trigeneration) and a retailer in the Pacific (90 TR, Trigeneration).

Power Partners has also passed the factory acceptance testing on a chiller for a large military base in the southeastern U.S. (80TR, Solar), and will be shipping that unit this quarter. Other chillers are in production and a number of projects are under development. Currently, we manufacture 30TR through 250TR ECO-MAX adsorption chillers.

Our Chillers Consume

Impressively Little Electricity

A 150TR mechanical chiller consumes approximately 100 kW of electricity. A 150TR ECO-MAX adsorption chiller consumes an average of approximately. 0.25 kW - about one-fourth of one percent of the electricity consumed by the mechanical chiller! For an application in which the chiller operates 8000 hours per year that's an annual reduction in electricity consumption of about

798,000 kW-hrs.

New Inquiry Form on Our Website

The easiest way for you to request information on ECO-MAX adsorption chillers is to fill out the inquiry form in the Products section of our website. This only takes a couple of minutes and enables us to provide you with preliminary information as specific to your application as possible. On the inquiry form there is a Comments area where you can include any requests for specific information (e.g., weight, dimensions, performance vs. temperature, etc.).
