One really important question for the holidays: What single present can you give yourself that will make you feel better-stronger-happier during this time? How will you guarantee that you give yourself this present during holiday hustle and bustle?

 

If something doesn't immediately come to mind, consider this: new research* has just established that personal health issues are a primary concern to caregivers. So... how about giving a continuing gift (to both you and your loved ones!) by considering one of these: an ongoing exercise program, a period of daily relaxation (yoga, meditation) or joining a local/online caregiver support program?

 

I've mentioned previously that I'm a caregiver, too, and just want to share that this year my personal choice for dealing with holiday stress is an exercise Susan Osborneprogram, which I'm beginning immediately! I'm guaranteeing this further by getting a friend to join me, signing up, and scheduling it! Trust me - this is not an easy choice given time constraints, but I'm determined and will let you know how it goes! You heard it here...this is a commitment!
