Adoration of A False Christ Increases
The Congress on Eucharistic Adoration met in Rome for the purpose of encouraging people to spend more time adoring the Eucharistic Christ. Pope Benedict XVI expressed the importance of worshipping the Eucharist when he encouraged everyone to: "Fix our gaze on the holy Host: and thus on God. This is the beauty of true Christianity: The Creator and Lord of all things was made a grain of wheat in order to be sown on our earth. He was made bread to be broken, shared, eaten; he was made our food to give us his own divine life." He also declared, "The transformation of the world is in the fragile, white, consecrated host - the real presence of Jesus. The only true medicine of immortality and the certainty of being loved by God is the Eucharist."

The worship of the Eucharist has become a non-negotiable requirement for ecumenical unity. In 1965, the second Vatican Council stated, "All Christians will be gathered in a common celebration in the Eucharist, into the unity of the one and only Church. This unity subsists in the Catholic Church as something she can never lose." In 2008, Pope Benedict affirmed that requirement when he said, "The road of ecumenism ultimately points towards a common celebration of the Eucharist which would only strengthen our resolve to love and serve one another in imitation of our Lord."

The church must be warned that worshipping the Eucharist is perhaps the worst kind of idolatry. The Lord Jesus Christ said, "If anyone says to you,'Behold, here is the Christ, do not believe him, for false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect'" (Matthew 24:23-24). According to Catholic priest John O'Brien in his book, The Faith of Millions, the priest "reaches up into the heavens, brings Christ down from His throne, and places Him upon our altar to be offered up again as the Victim for the sins of man. The priest speaks and lo! Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God, bows his head in humble obedience to the priest's command." The priest is said to perform great signs and wonders by changing the Eucharist into "the body and blood, soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ such that the whole Christ is truly, really and substantially contained" (Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 1374). "As the RCC pursues being the head of an ecumenical church, that this kind of idolatry, with its accompanying symbols - in this case the monstrance/Eucharist, will play a prominent role. This abstract "thing" called the Eucharist, in which "the faithful" around the world, will be able to apply whatever definition of "god" that they believe in. They have found a neutral symbol to worship. Demonically ingenious!" Jose Oller, PTG Board Member

Truly the Eucharist is a false Christ because the Bible gives precise details about the return of Christ so that no one will be deceived. We are told when, where, how and why Jesus will return. He does not return daily as a "victim for the sins of man" but "a second time, without reference to sin" (Heb. 9:28). He will return immediately after the tribulation with power and great glory and everyone will see Him (Matthew 24:27-30). The Lord will return in a physical body to the Mount of Olives, the same way He ascended to heaven (Acts 1:11).

Evangelicals, who continue to sign unity accords with the Catholic religion, are in essence, giving their stamp of approval for the false Christ of Catholicism. They are also helping the Vatican reverse the Reformation by embracing Catholicism as a valid expression of Christianity. The end result is mass confusion. Christians don't know whether to evangelize Catholics or to unite with them to evangelize the world together. Clearly the truth must be told and people must be warned of the eternal consequences awaiting those who embrace and worship a false Christ. The following video clip exposes the deception.

Preparing for Eternity
We are excited to announce a new publisher for our revised and expanded book entitled Preparing for Eternity. Northampton Press has taken on Mike Gendron as its only living author to publish the book that has opened the eyes of many who were blinded by religious deception. Previously the publisher was committed to reprinting writings of the Puritans.

Along with the new title, Mike has added several chapters to his first book Preparing Catholics for Eternity. Also included in the new publication are Mike's responses to many additional letters from Catholics. Many have said this type of dialogue has helped them become better equipped to give a biblical response to challenging questions. If you have friends or relatives who are Roman Catholics, or who may be considering joining the Roman church, this would be a good resource to help them examine themselves and the teachings of that church. Of this book John MacArthur said: "Carefully and convincingly, this helpful book demonstrates that the 'gospel' taught in Roman Catholicism is not the true gospel found in the Bible. I heartily recommend Mike Gendron's book." Order it here.

A Letter of Thanksgiving
Letters
Dear Mike,
Thanks for returning my call. I appreciate the personal touch on your part and your willingness to chat for a few minutes. There is so much more that I would like to have shared but I understand your schedule. I look for guidance from strong former Catholic leaders like yourself because even after 10 years. I am still bitter and hostile toward the Roman Catholic religion. I loathe the man-invented bureaucracy. I despise the "one true church" arrogance that I once flaunted myself. I realize that without the rescue of my soul by my Savior and Lord I would have never escaped that bondage of my own accord or will. My story would be unremarkable to some but to my brothers and sisters in Christ, it is a blessing, and to me the process was no less stunning and miraculous than a huge sea parting to let a chosen nation pass through on dry ground.

My Dad attends the Catholic Mass 7 days a week and is clearly disappointed in me. He also participates in Eucharistic Adoration (cringe!) My parents got divorced and right after the divorce Mom ran off and married our parish priest. That's right- the same one that trained me (and my brothers) to be an altar boy for 5 years. He died two years ago after 31 years of marriage to my mom. Funny thing, my Dad is still upset that the guy never followed proper "exit" procedures when he left the priesthood.

The church that I found is a blessing beyond words. It is a non-denominational church that faithfully worships and lives for God and Christ as a body. Please pray for me to be strong in the Gospel for Jesus when confronted. Thank you brother. I will continue to pray for your ministry, too.
Your brother in Christ,
David
Midnight Call Answers Conspiracy Questions
Midnight Call is known as the international voice of prophecy and reports on current events and how they might relate to biblical prophecy. I have had the privilege of speaking at a couple of their international conferences and writing articles for their excellent monthly magazine. Have you ever wondered what the Bible say about world conspiracy theories? Do they belong to the prophetic Word? The Midnight Call Ministry answers these questions in two articles posted on their web site.
Icon of Virgin Mary Said to Cause Conceptions
Just when you thought you have heard it all we came across this report. A Roman Catholic priest said that an iconic image of the Virgin Mary in his parish has helped dozens of families conceive in Albuquerque. Inside Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church, Father Christopher Zugger said dozens of couples who were told they couldn't conceive children did because of the Virgin Mary. "I better believe in miracles. We see them every day," Zugger said.
Zugger bought the 200-year-old iconic image of the Virgin Mary back in 1998. "Since them, we've had all kinds of miracles with all kinds of couples," Zugger said. According to Zugger, it started with one woman in the church who'd had five miscarriages. "She said, 'Holy Mother of God, save this baby. I can't lose another baby,'" Zugger said. "(She) put the icon on her stomach and she says, 'I'm not leaving until the baby kicks me six times." That baby is now a teenager. Read more.
It's No Wonder So Many Evangelicals Are Confused about Roman Catholicism
Chris Castaldo, a former Catholic, who now works for the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College had this to say in an article entitled Dating Across the Catholic/Protestant Divide. He said, "Orthodox Catholics and Protestants stand together in a common Nicene faith. But I'm not sure it's with a fully unified voice. Our interpretation of the 'one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church' differs at critical points, resulting in basic disagreements of faith and practice. Where we enjoy genuine unity, let's not be afraid to recognize it. But where there is a lack of solidarity, we must have the courage to acknowledge that as well."

As a former Catholic, Castaldo should know that there can never be genuine unity apart from a common faith in the one and only Gospel of grace. It is because of this kind of misinformation that so many evangelicals embrace Roman Catholicism as true Christianity. Tragically, they never see the urgent need to evangelize Catholics. The other tragedy occurs when evangelicals marry Catholics, only to find out too late that they are unconverted. Read entire article here.
