Vegetable Highlights at Outer Aisle

From the orchards of Tyson Hill Farm, Waterford we are excited to offer the first Yellow Freestone Peach, Flavorcrest. It is a large, soft, sweet and juicy (running down your arm, over the sink kinda peach), picked ripe and ready to go!  We'll have blackberries (the best tasting of the season), strawberries, Santa Rosa plums, apricots (a few Blenheim's), white nectarines and white peaches.

From the Coastal regions (cos we couldn't resist!) Yellow wax beans, red cabbage, kale, snap peas, broccoli and spinach.

From our farm we'll have New Red Potatoes, a medley of summer squash, beets, chard, basil, red onions, radishes.

On a walk through the garden this morning, after a few days of heat, I observed the eggplants making fruit, the cucumbers sizing up, purple pepper flushing out to size, Sungold cherry tomatoes turning a bright orange and the first tomatoes showing a hint of ripening!  Summer eating is about ready to explode!
