Alumni Spotlight
Amber Ramirez...                                                            Motivated, Dedicated, Amber RamirezDependable

Discipline, dedication and hard work are just a few of the lessons Amber Ramirez learned during her time as a basketball player for Palo Alto College.  Basketball was not just a game, it was the program that enhanced her character and prepared her life and all its ups and downs.

Amber's strong willed character began before she even stepped foot on the hardwood court or picked up a ball.  She credits her parents for being the ones who gave her the motivation and the strength to push forward and achieve the goals that she set.  They always told her she could do whatever she set her mind to; the world was hers to conquer.

"Use PAC as a stepping stone and a learning experience, and know that you will go further and achieve your goals. We are minorities...we are not expected to succeed...be an example, stand out and do the unexpected!"
