Cruizin' Wheels.....June 25thFriday Cruise Night at Skeeters Dog House. Special guest appearance by Chapman Motor Sports and their 1993 Davey Allison Texaco Havoline Chevy Lumina. The fun begins at 5:00pm and continues until 8:30pm.Painted Tipi'sClick on the link to view the Painted Tipi's placed around town. They will be located in Lowden State Park during the Oregon Trail Days Festival July 16th - 18th.
Mix-It-Up - The First Annual Sidewalk Painting Event held at Mix Park from 10am - 2pm on Saturday, June 26th. Bring your ideas, additional brushes, a palette, water container and rag. Registration forms are available at www.fieldsproject.com .

Oregon Park District Sprint Triathlon
Hey, all of you avid Triathletes, don't miss this event!! The Oregon Park District will be hosting their 2010 Tri-Oregon swim, bike and run activity on Saturday, July 31st. The 300 meter swim segment will be held at the Nash Recreation Center Indoor Pool. The 10 Mile Bike and 5K Run course will loop through the community and surrounding area.
Registration fee is $35 per person. The triathlon will begin promptly at 7:30am, and has six different award categories, from ages 14 and up. You may register online at www.ItsRaceTime.com. Or, contact Jena Grover at (815) 732-3101 or visit www.oregonpark.org.

| Rock River Valley Documentary
Rock River Valley - "Where We Live" intends to present and preserve the history and present day of this beautiful area known as the Rock River Valley. Come along for a journey which stems along the Rock River from Janesville, Wisconsin down to Dixon, Illinois.
The documentary was created by Jim Tsioles, a thirty year resident of the area. Filmed for over two years and completed in 2008, the video intends to present and preserve the area known as the Rock River Valley.
