- 83% of all attendees were from Pamplin
- 17% of all attendees came from 50 of the remaining 71 university majors

2. Due to employer demand, we are creating the 1st Annual Business Horizons SPRING Career Fair on Monday, February 18 from 1-6pm at Cassell Coliseum. There will only be about 100 booths for the spring event compared to 160 booths in the fall. About a dozen firms have already registered, please do so now.
3. From my onsite visits with employers, a popular conversation topic is counting the supply of students. Here is the most current enrollment report outlining the supply of Pamplin students by major by year since 2000. A couple of highlights:
- Total number of BIT students jumped 30% to 450 and about 158 are graduating seniors.
- Accounting and Information Systems increased 6% to 590 with over 200 graduating seniors.
4. Each year we partner with Michigan State asking our college employers to take a survey that creates Recruiting Trends 2012-2013. For your time and participation, you will also receive a complimentary copy shortly after it is released on November 16th. Please spare a minute and help us https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MSURT1213
5 . Company Days in the lobby of the Pamplin College of Business is a easy and free opportunity to brand yourself by setting up your booth and interacting with students while going to and from classes. In the past two years 150 of these events have occurred. If you would like to schedule a date, email Stuart Mease at smease@vt.edu.
6. As you schedule activities, Fall break is Friday, October 12. There will be no classes the week of November 19 - 23 for Thanksgiving.
7. Thanks for your interest in our students. We greatly appreciate you!
