Did you know with Microsoft Dynamics GP, you can have both "more" and "less"? With Microsoft Dynamics GP you get the best of both worlds. More access to relevant business information. Less searching and confusion. More efficiency and productivity. Less down time and frustration. More power and collaboration. Less cost and complexity.
How can that be possible? Check it out at Extending the Reach! |

How to Keep Customer Service "Top Of Mind"
How many times a day do you get distracted with the trivial problems of your company? Your clients want to feel special and when we live in a virtual business world, it's too easy to forget that personal connection with your clients.
An article on Women Entrepreneur, shares 3 great ways to keep your clients "top of mind" every day:
- Create service options. Packages are a great way to control pricing, time and the value given to your clients. It also helps you to serve your clients without feeling overwhelmed.
- Set aside a day of service. This is not as formal as it sounds. Every business owner could use focused days. This could be the day you save up your energy for: client meetings, off-site surprise visits to a client's business, extra research that would wow a client, etc.
- Remember that it is not just about you. Sometimes we're handed the task of championing a cause through the organization. We have to remember that it is about the people whom we serve in business.
In conclusion, your business is about service first-everything else comes after and if you put your clients first, that extra stuff will ultimately fall into place. |
What Does Customer Loyalty Mean To You?
You may already have those customers that come back repeatedly or refer their friends and family to you. Some of your customers may even stay faithful when your price is not the lowest. Whatever type of customer loyalty you have already developed, the need for it is growing.
Building and keeping customer loyalty means a large focus on customer service. This article shares a great collection of seven tips on how to build and maintain.
- Communicate more personally more often. Get to know your customers, and actually call them by name, or even remember their likes and dislikes. With today's technology, make sure they get a monthly newsletter, a reminder card for a tune-up, or a holiday greeting card personalized just for them.
- Educate your customers on your business. Today you have the tools, like blogging, videos, and new web technologies, to explain and make your customers appreciate what you do, and how you do it better than anyone else.
- Customer loyalty begins with employee loyalty. Loyalty works from the top down. If you are loyal to your team, they will pass that loyalty to their team, and to their customers. Employee loyalty starts with good communication and training on their role.
- Don't take existing customers for granted. Spend as much time thinking of special ways to reward existing customers as you do rewarding that first-time new customer. Don't ever give better deals to new customers than existing ones.
- Provide stability in terms and prices. Do everything you can to show your customers how they can cut their own costs and yours too, like online service. Ask your suppliers for help in maintaining margins.
- Be reliable and flexible. If you say an item will be back in stock by Monday, make it happen. If something does go wrong, be proactive in letting customers know and compensate them for the inconvenience. Be flexible in solving your customer's problem.
- Don't let customer service slip. As your business grows, it's easy to lose your focus on customer service, or take away the empowerment and accountability of key personnel. Customers say it takes ten good experiences to make up for one bad one. If their experiences are all good, they will tell eight other people.
Remember: effective customer loyalty will bring you new leads while keeping the customers you already value. |
