Office 2010 hits RTM Milestone

Takeshi Numoto, a Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, announced that Office

Integration Insider
| May 2010
|
|
Greetings! It's May, and everything seems to
be shooting up at once: grass, flowers, pollen counts, and apparently, the
confidence level of business. The Business Council and Conference Board just
released a survey of chief executive officers that showed 70.4% of company
heads expect the U.S. economy to expand in the 2.1% to 3% range this year.
While their optimism is tempered by worries about the Federal deficit, I for
one say: Good timing! We all know that "confidence" is a
fragile commodity. When business leaders say they're more confident, consumers
start to think maybe it's okay to make a purchase, take a vacation, or go out
to dinner. And just like that, things start to improve. I call it the "Field of
Dreams" school of economics. If you think it, they will come, and better yet,
spend. So, perfect timing, as we gear up for the summer season. Let's hope we
continue to have something to cheer about!
