The inflight connectivity market is living through its adolescent years - it's fully formed - but with much of its growth still to come.

It is fascinating to watch the different stages of development. Most recently, we have seen a step-change in the Asian market, with Singapore and Hong Kong Airlines already providing passengers with OnAir products. We have a healthy new business pipeline as, for example, ANA, THAI and Cebu plan to join them by offering our products next year.

A pattern is emerging. When one airline starts providing connectivity, the benefits quickly become very clear to other airlines in the region and they recognise they can't afford to lag behind. As a result, every airline now has a connectivity plan. It is therefore inevitable that inflight connectivity will become ubiquitous and I feel privileged to be part of its path to maturity.
