FROM THE CEO There is a lot of conjecture about the right bandwidth for inflight connectivity. We believe that is the wrong starting point: we should be focusing on what passengers want and actually use, not the bits and bytes. Two things are very clear. Passengers request a consistent service wherever they are flying in the world. And they don't use a lot of bandwidth: the most popular websites accessed over Internet OnAir are social networking, news and travel or holiday sites. YouTube isn't even in the top 50. That is one reason why airlines are selecting OnAir and SwiftBroadband for aircraft of all sizes, up to and including A380s. Today we have six A380 operators which have selected OnAir and the number of A380 deployments is increasing month on month. Emirates is a good example. It has the largest A380 fleet and OnAir is now up and running on all the aircraft; read the full story here. Sincerely Ian Dawkins
