ACPE Executive Director to Retire

by Sally Schwab, ACPE President

Dear Members of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education,

At the Spring 2011 meeting of the ACPE Board of Representatives, Teresa Snorton announced her decision to retire as the Executive Director for the ACPE.  Teresa's decision to retire at this time is related to her work as Bishop in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.  Due to circumstances within the church, Teresa's area of assigned responsibility within the church changed which necessitated her decision to retire.  Her current Episcopal area is Alabama and Florida. Teresa will continue as ACPE Executive Director through August 31, 2011.  Teresa will continue her work with the Foundation for Clinical Pastoral Education on a part-time, temporary basis. The FCPE Board will have oversight for Teresa's work.
