Tom and Carolyn have been sailing for 30+ years, having started out racing catamarans before they bought matching sailboards and were hooked. After cruising and racing long boards in upstate NY, Tom started taking ABK camps around 1994 and has been teaching with ABK for the past 8 years, primarily at East Coast and Texas locations. Carolyn windsurfs and SUPs for fun without the intensity for perfection like Tom. The last four winters Tom has helped out at Vela Aruba as an Equipment Technician and Instructor while Carolyn has been helping at the front desk doing lesson scheduling, equipment sign out/in and retail sales. They both take advantage of using the RRD SUP's at Vela when not windsurfing. In September 2011, Tom and Carolyn moved to Delaware and are excited about the great sailing in the area and also the opportunity to work at Delmarva Board Sport Adventures. In addition to overall windsurfing, Tom loves light wind freestyle, old school planing tricks, and will be getting back into long board racing.

Tom, in addition to George will be sharing their love of windsurfing with all who request lessons, freestyle clinics, demos and gear counsel.
