2012 News - We're Expanding!
Our goal is to serve you even better. Like the Indian River Bridge, we too will be finishing up construction this month on an expansion of our waterfront shop next to Harpoon Hanna's.
This means more room for inventory so we can bring you an even larger selection of gear and accessories, provide better access to the shop and offer expanded retail hours.
Look for our brand new entrance on the north side of the marina facing Rt. 54 and the Harpoon Hanna's parking lot.
We'll have lots of boards displayed along our store and beach front areas so there is no chance of missing us. |

Congratulations Matt Nunez - Winner of the Suplove SUP
 
In December, DelMarVa Board Sports and Suplove teamed up with Ocean FM 98.1 to serve up one heck of a prize for the radio station's Twelve Days of Christmas contest.
Matt Nunez (left) is one lucky dude! He won the grand prize, an 11' Suplove Adventurer Stand Up Paddle Board.

Windsurfing Stoke 2012
 At DelMarVa Board Sports, we're committed to the sport of windsurfing on the eastern shore of Delaware and Maryland. This is evidenced by a recent and exciting addition to the team.
Tom and Carolyn LePak have joined
DelMarVa Board Sports. This is wonderful news for windsurfing in the Mid-Atlantic area. Tom and Carolyn have been sailing for 30+ years, having started out racing catamarans before they bought  matching sailboards and were hooked. After cruising and racing long boards in upstate NY, Tom started taking ABK camps around 1994 and has been teaching with ABK for the past 8 years, primarily at East Coast and Texas locations. Carolyn windsurfs and SUPs for fun without the intensity for perfection like Tom. The last four winters Tom has helped out at Vela Aruba as an Equipment Technician and Instructor while Carolyn has been helping at the front desk doing lesson scheduling, equipment sign out/in and retail sales. They both take advantage of using the RRD SUP's at Vela when not windsurfing. Tom also participates in the annual board testing for Windsport magazine. In September 2011, Tom and Carolyn moved to Delaware and are excited about the great sailing in the area and also the opportunity to work at Delmarva Board Sport Adventures. In addition to overall windsurfing, Tom loves light wind freestyle, old school planing tricks, and will be getting back into long board racing. Tom, in addition to George will be sharing their love of windsurfing with all who request lessons, freestyle clinics, demos and gear counsel.
