In all seriousness, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you're age 40 or older, join the millions of women who get mammograms on a regular basis.

Battle on the Bay, Ocean City, MD - October 15th
 Entry fee for participants is $25, which includes a sandwich and a drink. Spectators are welcome to attend, free of charge. Fager's will offer drink specials throughout the day.

2nd Annual Delaware Wine and Beer Festival
Sunday, October 23, 12 noon - 5 p.m.
Get your taste buds fired up for the Second Annual Delaware Wine & Beer Festival, sponsored by Kent County Tourism and set for Sunday, October 23 at Pizzadili Vineyard and Winery in Felton, DE, just minutes south of Dover off Route 13.
