We've been tracking Mike and Will since they launched on March 1, 2011 from Key West, Florida.  They're steadily paddling north for 2 great causes -Wounded Warriors and WWW.SUPCLEANUP.COM.  They expect to reach the DelMarVa sometime in the next couple days.  Stay Tuned to Our Facebook Page for Dates, Times and Locations.

And everyone is invited!  When they arrive, we'll be hosting a FREE stand up paddle board demo at Harpoon Hanna's, a SUP Race and Bonfire with East of Maui and Fells Point Surf Co., in Dewey Beach, a clean up with The Center for Inland Bays, a meet and greet at the Indian River Life Saving Museum with Delaware State Parks and Local Wounded Warrior volunteers Butch and Linda Elzey will be coordinating a BBQ fundraiser when Mike and Will paddle into town. 

After hanging out on the DelMarVa for a couple days, we'll send them across the bay with an escort coordinated by Delaware Paddlesports and members of a paddling group called DelMarVa Kayak over to our friends on Cape May.

This season we are growing and offering multiple venues for your stand up paddle boarding convenience.  Where are you staying this summer?

Fenwick / Bethany - Our shop is centrally located just over the North Ocean City line in TAX FREE southern Delaware.  We are waterfront next to Harpoon Hanna's and we will be offering a host of activities.  In addition to our waterfront launch, we will also launch inside of the Bayside Fenwick private community.

Ocean City - If you are staying in central or south Ocean City, visit one of our Berlin, MD locations on and near Assateague Island, including inside the National Park at the MD Coastal Bays Bike/Canoe stand, bayside.   Our Berlin, MD locations, which also include Ayers Creek Adventures and Frontier Town are great ways to co-mingle stand up paddle boarding with kayaking and canoeing as all are available at these locations.  We will be offering daily eco-tours inside of the Assateague Natl Park.  Reserve early to ensure your spot!

Lewes / Dewey / Rehoboth - If you are staying further north, paddle with us in Cape Henlopen State Park and experience a sunset dolphin excursion that has been called 'amazing'.  If you're into the zen of it, try a stand up paddle board yoga class with Dimitra Yoga. 

If you'd rather do your own thing, stop by our Fenwick Island location and pick up a board or two and take them with you.  Need them delivered?  No problem, we offer delivery and pick up services too.  Reserve early to not miss out.

No matter where you're staying on DelMarVa this summer, we have a location close enough for you to stroke it with us!

A portion of our stand up paddle boarding proceeds from Saturday, May 28, 2011 will be donated to The Delaware Wellness Community. 

We dedicate this event to the memory of our Yia Yia Matikas, who just passed away with cancer on 5/5/11.

Try These Babies Out!

Try before you buy at DelMarVa Board Sport Adventures.  We have a waterfront demo area right next to the TikiBar at Harpoon Hanna's.  Drop a board in the water and take it for a test drive.  If you'd like to rent a board for a day, that's cool.  You can then apply that rental credit toward the purchase of a board within 60 days of your rental.  We want you to be totally comfortable with your purchase decision and we realize that can't be done by buying a board off a showroom floor.
