A recent environmental assessment by the Clay County Health Department has prioritized health outcomes which are associated with the impacts of travel behavior, transportation networks, and the built environment overall.
This Forum, structured as a panel discussion, will engage community leaders and Clay County residents to educate and facilitate awareness on the impact that the built environment has on community health priorities. Specifically, the focus will be on the interaction between urban design, transportation networks, and resulting travel behavior and health outcomes.
The mission of the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida is to develop regional, unbiased research and evidence-based initiatives that promote healthy communities, lifestyles, and improve accessible, quality health care.
