Building A Healthier Region Through Research and Collaboration Dr. Dawn Emerick, President & CEO Presents timely information on local efforts to address statutory requirements for non-profit hospitals within the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) of 2010 related to community health needs assessments. The Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida is collaborating with nine of Jacksonville's non-profit hospitals to assist them in meeting thier legistlative requirements, leveraging the assets of each hospital and utilizing an economies of scale approach, projected to save the hospitals over $250,000. |
