The Health Planning Council is quickly growing! With that growth comes a need to share more information with the community.
The HPC is looking to bring on a Social Media Intern to help with an electronic media strategic plan and to help with different social media initiatives.
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Electronic Media Coordinator
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary responsibility is to assist the Development and Community Outreach Coordinator with executing an electronic media strategic plan and all social media initiatives associated with the Heath Planning Council and their affiliates.
PRINCIPAL JOB ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Execute and manage the HPC Electronic Media Plan
2. Develop and manage electronic media and social media initiatives (Constant Contact, Facebook, twitter, HPC website etc...)
3. Develop and disseminate HPC communication (i.e. press releases, newsletters, conferences, speaker's bureau etc...)
4. Prepare reports and other correspondence as needed
5. Performs other duties as assigned by the HPC Executive Director
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the HPC Executive Director.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Must have organizational skills, writing and communication skills, and a commitment to customer service. Must be able to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work effectively with staff, partners, and the public. Must be very knowledgeable of social media platforms
