Over 40 Regional Investors Will Convene Tomorrow for a Sneak Preview of Northeast Florida Counts!

On March 1, the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida and Mayo Clinic will play host to over 40 regional investors tomorrow who are excited to get a sneak preview of the long anticipated Northeast Florida Counts indicator dashboard.  You can follow all of the fun on the Health Planning Council's Facebook page or follow us on Twitter @HPCNEF.  

Seven months in the making, the Northeast Florida Counts dashboard will give the region 175+ healthy community indicators, promising best practices, and cyber-initiative centers.  

Why a community-driven regional dashboard?

• "Regionalism" is an approach being used for economic development purposes via Chambers of Commerce.

• Reduces invisible county borders to enhance service delivery, health care utilization, and sustainability policies such as transportation, land use, etc...

• Huge Economies of Scale- Northeast Florida Counts saved the region $550,000 annually. 

• Allows the community to leverage regional resources during tough economic times

• Assists in identifying planning and service delivery overlap, duplication and wasteful spending

• Promotes collaboration and meaningful partnerships
