The Health Planning Council Board of Directors and staff will convene on November 1, 2010 to develop a 3-5 year strategic plan. Last year, the Health Planning Council received $82,000 from the state's Health Care Trust Fund to execute 12 mandated Local Health Council State Statutes. When we conducted our end-of-the-year ROI, our calculations revealed that for every $1.00 of the Health Care Trust Fund dollars we received, we leveraged $98.00 of health care research, health promotion and community convening services back into the region. To further demonstrate our commitment to being good stewards of our private and public funding, we decided to produce an Annual Review video in lieu of a printed report to highlight our accomplishments this past fiscal year.
