New Town Health Project Phase 4 Now on YouTube

The Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida continued their partnership with Baptist Health and New Town Success Zone last week by facilitating another step in this groundbreaking community-based participatory research project occurring in the New Town census track.   Last month, nine trained New Town Health Project Health Builders! conducted and audio recorded 10 focus groups and collected community level data from over 65 focus group participants.  On March 21, Health Builders! gathered on the campus of Edward Waters College to review the information recorded in the 10 focus groups and developed a 2 page porch-to-porch health needs assessment survey.  This unprecedented survey will be issued by 25 Health Builders! on each Saturday in April beginning on Saturday April 10.  The Health Builders! are striving to collect 500 surveys by May 1.  Click here to see Phase 4 of the New Town Health Project.
