Cognex VisionView supports Rockwell & Siemens CE Panels

 

VisionView CE software can now be licensed and installed directly onto Rockwell and Siemens CE panels, allowing end users to use existing equipment and thereby reducing monitor clutter. In addition to supporting VisionView CE software to run on Rockwell and Siemens CE panels, a new software release, VisionView 1.4, adds the functionality to support filtered images, the ability to view the failed image next to the current image.

VisionView CE software now offers users seamless integration with factory floor HMIs by allowing them to run VisionView on their own Rockwell and Siemens CE panels.

Festo EGSL Electric Slide

 

Festo EGSLThe EGSL Electric Slide from Festo provides efficient positioning with strokes of up to 300 mm.  Excellent for vertical applications and for short-stroke slide functions with variable positioning. 

 

With linearity and parallelism in the 1/100mm range the EGSL is great for high-precision shifting, picking and inserting, even under high mechanical loads.

STM Light Band Fork Sensor

STM Fork sensorThe GLS03BS reliably detects knots and defects in extremely thin threads or wire even at high spooling speeds.  This light-band fork sensor generates a 4mm wide light band of uniform intensity, great for inline quality control on fast moving threads, wires or filaments.

 

Together with the dynamic MICROmote amplifier V10H, knots material defects or splicing can be detected reliably.

PackML

 

Mitsubishi Electric provides a PackML template to use for packaging equipment that includes ISA-88 compliant PackTags. The template is available free of charge and helps eliminate unwanted engineering costs for implementing PackML on new or existing machines.
