Get it FRESH at a Local Farm Stand!
Farm stands across Essex and Middlesex Counties are a fun and easily accessible way for consumers to find locally grown foods. Many farmers have transitioned from wholesaling to retailing via farm stands, PYO, and participating in farmers markets, which are "growing" a farm's personal connection within their community, while also helping to sustain family farms through direct sales.  During the months of July and August, farm stand bounty is exceptional! Farm freshest fruits, veggies, eggs, meats and plants are waiting for YOU at one of the 50+ farm stands listed in NortheastHarvest.

They have few natural pests, (other than birds), so farmers rarely have a need to use pesticides.
