Child Minding

Child minding services will be available starting the week of July 9!  We are starting out with four weekly time slots, and as interest grows we plan to keep expanding the availability. 

 

We'll have the following times available for childing minding:

Mondays 9:30a-12:30pm

Wednesdays 9:30a-12:30pm

Thursdays 12:30p-2:45p

Thursdays 5:15p-8:15pm

 

This is two mornings, one evening and one afternoon slot (for mother's coming to Baby & Mom yoga class, you can drop off your older child). 

 

We hope that this is a good cross section of availability to get you started!  The more these services get used and filled up, the more we'll add on to it!

 

We've kept the childminding fees very reasonable! First child is $3, each additional child is $2 or purchase a package of 10 for only $25!  (all taxes included)

 

For now there will be no pre-registration required, just show up with your child, being sure to leave plenty of time to get your child comfortable with our facility and to get yourself into class on time!

Ride to Conquer Cancer

 

The Yoga by Sarah team had an amazing time this past weekend as we rode in the Ride to Conquer Cancer - a 2 day 200+ km bike ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls.  Our team of five people raised over $13 000, contributing towards the $18.1 million dollars raised by the collective 4800 riders, going to the Princess Margaret hospital.

 

At the finish line in Niagara Falls, YBS had a tent offering yoga to the riders as they came in.  We had over 14 staff on hand for the day there, we met so many amazing people and heard many touching stories on how cancer has touched all of our lives.

Intro to Aerial Yoga Workshop

This workshop will introduce the basics of the OmGym system to you safely and effectively. You'll learn how aerial yoga decompresses the spine, strengthens your core and allows you to get deep stretches all while having fun!

  Yoga Tune Up® for Runners

 Running injuries all have one thing in common: muscular imbalances. Take away a home based practice that you can adjust to your particular needs and schedule . Self-massage and yoga routines to take care of 'hot spots', such as hips, buttocks, calves, IT band and knees. Use it to re-set the resting length of your muscles after a run and to care for yourself as part of your training program.
