I can't help loving December - even with the bustle of the holidays and the cool weather, there's a warmth to this month. People seem happier and we make more time to speak with friends and to smile and wish strangers and neighbours alike a "Namaste" or at least a "Happy Holidays"!
Perhaps part of the reason I love December is that it's our anniversary month at Yoga by Sarah. This year we are celebrating 13 full years in business! As I reflect back on the years, I feel full of gratitude for our clients and staff that have made YBS the family that it is. There isn't anywhere else on this planet that I'd rather be, and I look forward to growing and creating with you over the next 13 years!
We have a lot of plans for 2012! As I write this, our contractors are renovating our newest space, our third studio upstairs. We've named that studio "Loka", which translates into "heavenly space" from Sanskrit. When you come back in January, it will be a great space to practice in. Over the first couple months of the new year, we will be installing showers and adding childcare to our facilities. I also have a couple other things in the works, but I can't give it all away at once!
I'm putting the final touches on our January Drop-In Schedule, and we'll have it out in the next few days. As usual, we'll be adding on several additional classes starting in January! I think you'll be delighted with the extra classes and the great line up of instructors. You're even going to see me teaching a few classes a week now. I've missed being in class with you guys this past year, and it's time for me to be back.
