The Lutheran Hispanic Missionary Institue has launched a Prayer Initiative. This unique opportunity allows you to post a Prayer, a Prayer Request or Praise. We will pray for your concerns.

This past Friday Night Rev R. Paige Mathews, Director of Development for the Lutheran Hispanic Missionary Institute, spoke at a gathering of 28 individuals from the Iowa West District. A meal, funded by the Grant from the Thrivent Foundation for Lutherans, preceeded the presentation.

Paige was able to discuss matters of Spanish Outreach including 49 different community based service opportunities, the role that LHMI fulfills in preparing workers for service in the local church, and encouragement in reaching the "lost".
