2011 was an eventful year for us. Last spring we acquired InteractivePrint, a web-based company specializing in the efficient production of template-driven print. Thus creating HDI, a division to compliment our legacy business perfectly. In addition to reaching a new customer base with an easy-to-use online system, we also satisfy our current customers who benefit from the online infrastructure that was already in place with InteractivePrint. As part of the same initiative to improve our web services, we adopted the online proofing system InSite. The system boosts efficiency by allowing us to work closely with customers to manage project proofing, corrections and approvals, all online.  Late summer we were feverishly making space for the arrival of the Biggest Ryobi Printing Press in the USA. By mid-fall the installation of a Ryobi 750 (10) Color UV Printing Press, the biggest of its kind ever installed in the US, was complete and up and running at H&D. The shop was turned upside down to fit it in and the calibration and install was a slow and tedious process. But, now that it's running, it's running like a top!
