It is with great sadness that we must inform you that Eric William Altshule, partner and COO at Academic Success passed away on Sept 1, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 44. His death was sudden, unexpected, and heartbreaking. Eric is survived by his wife Jennifer, and two daughters, Allison & Harper.

 

Eric was the kindest and best person I have ever known. He was a devoted husband and father, and I was remarkably fortunate to know him as my brother, dear friend and trusted business partner. The loss to Eric's family and friends cannot be measured. People who met Eric, experienced his disarming wit and remarkable everyday insight. Eric's integrity and belief in humanity were keenly felt by all who knew him.

 

Eric was passionate about education and believed in the importance of serving the community, especially in regards to children. We at Academic Success will honor his memory by continuing with the work we shared and giving our clients the best service possible.

 

Also, a scholarship fund has been set up in Eric's name with 5% of the company's proceeds to be dedicated to the fund.
