Happy 4th of July!
On behalf of all of us at Our Friends Place, thank you for all you do to give our girls & young women hope and opportunity for a promising future.

Because of You...They Have Well-Being
With supportive families & communities, children achieve well-being. But our girls & young women are some of the millions who have none and they and their communities suffer because of it.
YOU are the difference! Your help gives our girls & young women second chances, safety, stability, skills and opportunities to overcome the odds and obstacles.
Currently, three girls at the Group Home are enrolled in summer school. One has just turned 16 and is interviewing for part-time jobs. A young woman at the Transitional Living Center (TLC) is completing a literacy program and has obtained a second job.
And on the fun side of life - the girls went on a camping trip at a local state park. They camped in tents, cooked s'mores and hot dogs over a pit fire, and swam the day away. They're now gearing up for their big summer vacation to the Texas Hill Country. Thank you to those who donated to make this trip possible. The girls would not have had this opportunity had it not been for your gifts.
Your support enables our girls & young women to become emotionally, educationally and socially on-target. They will leave Our Friends Place with all they need for futures as independent, successful women. And it is all because of you!

Easy (& FREE!) Ways to Help OFP When you shop at Kroger or Tom Thumb, you can help our girls & young women - and at no cost to you!
The Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Fun d will donate to Our Friends Place a percentage of total gifts raised by our supporters through their purchases. On your next trip for groceries, give this letter to the cashier. The cashier will scan the special OFP barcode to enroll you & Kroger will donate funds to help our girls & young women every time you shop.
Tom Thumb's "Good Neighbor" Program will p ay Our Friends Place a percentage of your purchase each time you shop. Just visit Customer Service to link your Reward Card to Our Friends Place #2759.
