Breaking the Cycle: Graduation Day
This past Saturday, we celebrated TWO high school graduations!
One of the girls lives in our Therapeutic Group Home. She will start college in the fall, but is spending the summer working at her part-time job and getting her driver's license.
Quinecia (pictured), lives at the Transitional Living Center. She graduated from Lincoln High School - Home of the Tigers, and has been accepted to UNT. Her plans are to major in Education and teach music. Her goal is to become a professional songwriter.
We hope you will include these two young women in your celebrations. Even if only behind the scenes, you were most definitely a part of their success!

Yeehaw! $90,000 Raised for the Girls
A beautiful night with a beautiful ending - $90,000 raised for the girls & young women who need us most. The "Come Fly With Us" gala on May 16 was a ball - pun intended.
Many thanks to all for their contributions and support, especially Colleen Barrett, Honorary Chair, and Rebecca Lopez, Mistress of Ceremonies. In addition to a lot of fun on the auction block & dance floor, you made a big impact in the lives of our girls & young women. Thank you!

Summer Getaway
Each summer the staff takes the girls living at the Group Home on a summer getaway. The trip is typically a days' drive from town and lasts a week. For this trip, we are in need of a cabin or vacation home that can sleep 12 with at least 4 bedrooms. If you can help - with accommodations or funding - please contact Rebecca at 214-520-6268. Thank you!
