Greetings!
Firecracker
Happy 2009!  We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and were able to get some well-deserved rest.  2008 went out with a bang and we want to take the opportunity to thank all of our PII Partners (certified PII facilitators) for all of your hard work in delivering colors to your organizations.
What's Next?  Keeping Colors Alive in Your Organization
You've facilitated PII sessions throughout your organization...now what?  Doesn't it make sense to maximize your company's investment and put it to work?  PII isn't a stand-alone tool.  Many companies have had great success partnering it with other training and development programs.  Here are just a few:
  • Lencioni's Five Dysfunctions of a Team to help teams build trust
  • Covey's time management workshop to help participants recognize their own roadblocks to effectiveness
  • Strengthfinder's to validate participant's perception of their strengths against their prefered behaviors and expectations
  • Crucial Conversations to help people become more aware of how their communication style is perceived by others
PII is also a key element of many new employee orientation, leadership development and coaching programs.  Contact us to discuss ways to enhance your training and development programs using colors.
Organizational Practices Insight Inventory (OPII)

The Organizational Practices Insight Inventory (OPII) takes PII to the next level, giving you insight into your organization's operating practices and how people experience the organization.

OPII is a research-based on-line survey that allows individuals to share perceptions of how your organization operates, including:
  • Behavior Preferences - the behavior people experience in the organization
  • Expectations - the organization's expectations people experience
  • Values - the behaviors that are valued and rewarded in the organization

Understanding how each person experiences the organization is a perfect entry point for discussing culture and how to better align it with the business strategy.

Additionally, the collective experience that people share provides insight into the diverse practices represented in the organization.

Let us know if you are interested in introducing OPII to you organization.
Here's What People are Saying About PII

ListenHere are some things participants have said about their experience with colors:

" I've been with GE for over 20 years and this is the best course I've been through."

"Self-awareness is one of the most important tools a salesperson can have.  This is key to understanding how to sell both internally and externally."

"One of the most insightful tools I have ever seen."

"People are our most important asset...this exercise targets the very core of our team."
