Lake City Experience
As you might guess, Lake City is a bit slow at this time of year. Fourth hunting season is underway, and an occassional hiker or fisher are here enjoying the fall season. For those of you who only see Lake City in the summer, you might be surprised at how nice and warm it can be in-between the snow, even in November! Although we've already had a few snowstorms, the city itself is experiencing beautiful Indian Summer days with temps ranging anywhere from 45 to 65 degrees. Of course the evenings get a little brisk, but it's still gorgeous enough for hikes and fishing in the day time.
Fly Fishing
Speaking of fishing, get out there! The days are warm enough to throw nymphs or streamers out and expect a big rainbow. Folks have been getting into 20 inch plus rainbows on the Lake Fork. The fish are preparing for winter, and even they know it's not quite here yet. Gear Specials
