Learner autonomy has been the subject of many studies but there have been fewer studies of what learner autonomy means to teachers. This study, conducted in Oman, reports on teacher beliefs and reported practices regarding learner autonomy. You can download the study for free.

This is a lesson plan focused on writing. Sometimes when we ask students to write a composition they spend very little time at the important editing stage. In this lesson students do a couple of 'short writing' activities with the focus on editing and accuracy.
