YAANI!

"The YAANI project gave me the opportunity to network with many people from other countries. The modules gave us the necessary tools and methodologies to issue accurate and evidence based policy briefs that we can share with decision makers."  Meriem Zaari Jabi, an ENCG graduate who  took part in the YAANI training explained,  "I believe that the YAANI project has created for us a new channel for a more knowledgeable and a more effective contribution to the democratization and the development of our countries via an approach that adheres admirably to the concept of participatory democracy."Meriem added.

The regional project YAANI - The Young Arab Analysts Network International - initiated by the British Council in collaboration with Chatham House and with the support of the British Embassy in Rabat- hosted a seminar, in partnership with the Mediterranean Youth Forum (FOMEJE),  on the theme "Youth and the importance of Policies" on 26 May, Rabat.

During this event, the first Moroccan group of policy analysts had the opportunity to present, exchange and share their works on the following issues: Sustainable development, Youth participation in the decision making process, Good governance, Medias, and violence against women. The seminar was held in the presence of experts, politicians, academicians, civil society activists, bloggers, and other young people.
