News

1- The British Council, the Moroccan Association of Friends of English (MAFE) and Morocco World News

These three organizations came together in Fes on Sunday 8th January for a seminar on using classroom in English language teaching. Nick Cherkas from the British Council shared his ideas for activities for teachers using classroom technologies, especially with minimal resources; Jalal Bounouar from MAFE looked at how using technology can help learners; and Dr Samir Bennis, owner and editor-in-chief of Morocco World News, looked at the role of the Morocco World News website in English language Education in Morocco.

There was a lively Q & A session afterwards, and we'd like to thank the participants for their ideas and thoughts. We hope to be involved in more events with MAFE and hope to collaborate with Morocco World News to share the best of the UK with our Moroccan audience. Thanks to the teams from MAFE and Morocco World News for organizing the event!

Please contact you local supervisor if you would like to have British Council teacher training in your area - or set up a Teacher Learning Community with the help of the British Council!
