Welcome To One World is Enough!
Welcome to our new newsletter - I hope that you like it! We will be sending one out every month to let you know all the exciting things that we are up to and let you know about all the amazing new things that we have been sourcing from our ever increasing network of Fair Trade Producers across India, Nepal, Indonesia & Thailand. It's a difficult time at the moment, the End of the World as we know it if we
listen to the TV, but hey the world is still spinning and life goes on. But please keep supporting us so that we can keep supporting the small producers in developing countries that we have been working with for the last eleven years.
Yours Sincerely,
Peter Harlow, Founder,
One World is Enough

Our Autumn Collection
I've just come back from
Kathmandu,where I
have been busy, working with our producers on our new collections. Our
producers were delighted to see me this year, in these troubled
economic times our producers need our support more then ever. This
year we are going for several collections, we have our Funky Streetwear Collection, a collection of hip hoodies tops, skirts and dresses aimed at our young and young at heart customers. We have a great collection of handknitted jumpers, hand knitted fleece lined jackets, Handknitted slipper socks, earflap hats, gloves & scarves all made by Tibetan Refugees living around the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. We have a new collection due in soon featuring
more plain colours and classic designs. We are also getting a lot more
children's wear. These collections should be in our shop in mid
October and should begin being posted on the website around the same
time. It always takes longer to get our things online as we have to
photograph all our items first!

Wrap up in our Winter Woolies!
Our ever poular winter woolies are back in stock! We have slipper socks ( with hard wearing felt soles as our knitters are budhist and do not beleive in using animal products). We have lovely handknitted scarves with pockets, fingerless gloves with mitten covers and our best selling fleece lined earflap hats. All our woolies are handknitted by Tibetan Refugess living around the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal from 100% natural wool. Funnily enough they used to use yak wool but our customers complained that they were too itchy, now we use New Zealand Wool. It's sent over in big bales which is spun and dyed in Nepal, now that globalisation!
