This has been an exciting year for research related to Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses, and we want to take this opportunity to update you on a few of the important research projects funded by Time for Lyme, Inc. and to ask for your continued support.  

We are proud to showcase current research projects that we are funding wholly or in part:

  • Better Diagnostic Tests - Dr. Brian Fallon and The Lyme and Tick-Borne Research Center at Columbia University.
  • Better Treatments - Dr. Benjamin Luft and the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
  • Understanding Chronic Lyme Disease Syndrome - Dr. M. Karen Newell Rogers, Professor at Texas A and M Health Sciences Center in the College of Medicine. 
  • Chronicling Chronic Lyme Disease - Dr. John Aucott, Principal Investigator for the Lyme Disease Research Foundation of Maryland.
  • Treating Persistent Symptoms - Dr. Armin Alaedini, Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
  • Diagnostic Biomarkers for Persisting Brain and Nervous System Symptoms in Lyme Disease - Dr. Steven Schutzer, physician-scientist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Medical School.
  • Model for Chronic Lyme Disease - Dr. Ying Zhang, professor of molecular microbiology and immunology at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.
