Smokin' hot barbarianess Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy
On this day in 2000, Angela Gossow magically sprang to life from an airbrushed Dungeons & Dragons scene on the side of a stoner's van.

By Nostradamus
Surprise! We all die tomorrow. How do ya like that horoscope, Crapitarius? No more moronic prognostications gleaned from "hours" bent over a "crystal ball" I made out of a snow globe from K-Mart. Turn down the whale songs and lissen up. Everything. Goes boom. Maņana. Comprende? Bueno.

...this Nicorette is providing no relief.

In this issue, learn about our trip to SXSW, our upcoming Gotham Rocks social at The Delancey, and how we're becoming media darlings...
King Hell Storms South By Southwest (SXSW)

Hold onto your spike studded Stetsons! Hot on the heels of our crushing appearance at the Millennium Music Conference 14 in PA, we're headed to Austin, TX for two headlining shows at SXSW, the  biggest, most prestigious music festival in the US! Thursday, 3/18, we play the devastatingly important sounding "Sennheiser Music Supervisor Showcase & Industry Mixer" on the Speakeasy Rooftop. Friday, 3/19, we close out the "Official SXSW Music Stimulus Party 2010" at The Parish, which had 1,500 people turn out last year! It's free, with free food and drink--if you're anywhere this side of The Pecos (we don't know what that means, but Yosemite Sam used to say it) you MUST come and rock with us. We're replacing the anvil with a mechanical bull for this show...

"Music Stimulus Party", 12-5pm, Fri. 3/19 at The Parish, Austin, TX

Guitar Pick Gotham Rockin' @ The Delancey--With YOU!
King Hell at The Delancey Sat. 3/13 10:30Why do we play lots of Gotham Rocks showcases? Because they have "Gotham" in the title, and that's where Batman lives--ergo they do, indeed, rock. Case in point, Saturday, 3/13, we'll be part of the first Gotham Rocks showcase to take place at The Delancey in NYC.

This show is special for two reasons. First, unlike most joints we play where the bar is crammed into the club, The Delancey has bars on three floors! We'll be hangin' all night, getting to know you fans better. (And you fans can get to know each other better, in the Biblical sense.) Think of it as a rock n' roll social!

Second, in addition to four other killer bands, we'll be playing directly before the epic Seventh Void, featuring Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly from Type O Negative and Danzig. Fellas, it's gonna jammed with hot goth chicks. Ladies, Pete Steele could stop by, and he's been in Playgirl... brontosaurus, if you get our drift. Here's the line up!

Horns Media Covers King Hell In Glory
AOL Music's Noisecreep.com logoIt seems we've been getting written up everywhere--and for once we don't mean arrested. Most recently, we were featured on AOL Music's super popular Noisecreep.com. (We were on the front page, right below Rob Halford! Samwell nearly exploded in flames of delight.) Plus we got cool reviews of our Gramercy show from Reviewposse.com and Rhythm & Bruise from 3:16 Productions.

KZUU radio logoWe're also #1 on the Loud Rock charts for Washington State University's KZUU radio! If you're up at 10pm PST, or 1am EST, give 'em a call at 509-335-2207 and request us. Let us know and we'll send ya some free goodies!
Many thanks for reading, King-Hellions. Next issue, we debut a new feature--King Hell's Warrior of The Month! Wanna be nominated? Send a pic of you at your most metal to info@kinghell.net and tell us why you deserve this awesome honor. One worthy warrior will be included in each newsletter, probably with a bunch of ridiculous Viking stuff made up about them.

We'll see you at The Delancey!

Metal regards,
The fooligans in King Hell!
