"Is Everyone in the Family Scheduled?"
Protocol # 58 (Excerpt from "The Protocol Book")
This is for the staff member that checks patients out. It tells this person: Is anyone else in this family overdue? If so, it becomes that day's agenda to schedule them.
Rationale
May not sound like much, but keeping hygiene schedules full is a time-consuming and expensive job. Employing three full-time hygienists, I'm familiar with the challenge. And the best way to maintain full schedules is not letting patients slip through the cracks. There are no better patients to recall than family members of existing patients.
