Important Information
Regarding Your Alarm System
During A Hurricane
Please visit our website, by clicking on the link below, to download and PRINT the user manual for your security system. In preparation for the impending storm, please have this manual handy in the event of a power loss. http://www.certifiedalarms.com/system-manuals.html
If power is lost, please enter your keypad code SLOWLY and FIRMLY (you may need to do this twice) to silence the beeping. You are simply acknowledging that the system has converted to battery backup.
When the system converts to battery, the amount of time your system will be operable will depend on the age and size of the battery in the control panel. When the battery is exhausted, the keypad may start beeping again and will not be responsive to your keypad code. If this should happen, you can locate the control panel of the system (usually located in a closet or laundry room) and remove one wire from the battery terminal.

Our first priority is the safety and wellness of others, so once it is safe to do so, we will have technicians on call to answer questions, and begin dispatching to make emergency service calls to our monitored customers. We will waive the "after hours" charges for service calls during this time, and only charge standard business hours rates. If you feel you need service for your system, please contact our office at 225-928-7867 and speak to our service department.
Please understand that we will do everything possible to answer your calls as quickly as we can, however we are anticipating a very high call volume, so please be patient when requesting service.
