Slight Bracket Change
In efforts to avoid a possible match up between the two Olentangy teams in the 2nd Round, the Olentangy Raiders have recently volunteered to play Friday night. Thus, and UPDATED 2011 Bracket is Now Online. Basically all that happened is the Olentangy Raiders will play Lebanon Friday night and now Anthony-Wayne awaits a possible new opponent or receives a first round bye in the event that spot does not fill. Remember, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE YELLOW REVISION DATE IN THE LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER. This way you will know if you are looking at the latest copy. We will also send out an email notification if any changes do occur (i.e. teams added).

The Lebanon Warriors Return
The Warriors from Lebanon, Ohio will be making their second entry into the Trojan Horse this year. Last year was their first year and they opened with a 14-0 win over Hilliard in the Double A Bracket. However they then fell short to Canal Winchester and the Springfield Wildcats to end their run. The Warriors are actually our 3rd Entry from the Western Ohio Junior Football Conference (WOJFC) this year, with both Beavercreek Teams also playing in the same League. Lebanon will now open Friday night against the Olentangy Raiders to see who moves on to face the winner of the Troy vs. Beavercreek match up.

2011 Field Map Now Online
We Please note that the 2011 Trojan Horse Field Map is now Online and it is basically the same as last year with the exception of some construction. THIS YEAR ONLY ONE OF THE TWO DOWNTOWN TROY BRIDGES WILL BE OPEN. As result, you may want to add a few extra minutes of travel time in case of traffic. This will be particularly an issue Friday - November 11th because of REO Speedwagon playing at Hobart Arena. Traffic from this concert will most likely effect anyone traveling to Duke Park (Field D1) for that 7pm game (and possibly the 9pm game). So if you are one of those two games Friday night, you want to make extra sure you are allowing plenty of time for potential traffic.

Weight Ins
The Trojan Horse Officials will ONLY need to weight Offensive Backs (or anyone planning to advance the ball from the back field). A player only has to make weight once, and that is in full game gear just prior to his (or her) first game. Once the player makes weight a Tournament Sticker will be placed on the Player's Helmet to be worn the duration of the Tournament. Weight ins will happen as soon as a Tournament Official sees that both teams are ready. A Tournament Official, as well as an opposing coach, will witness all weight ins while another Tournament Official inspects the Team book. There is no particular place to check it, whereas it varies from field to field, however someone will approach you as soon as they see your team has arrived.

Special Rates on Hotel Rooms
Hotels continue to fill and they will only become more scarce and expensive as the Tournament date draws closer. This year we are proud to announce Alliance Tour & Travel as "The Official Travel Partner for The Trojan Horse". Alliance will be your personal assistant for all your Hotel Reservations and will be offering special Group Rates for anyone that books hotel rooms Tournament weekend. Please note, special group rates may NOT be available by calling any of the local hotels direct.
As Tournament time continues to get closer, it is highly recommended you book your rooms early before the local hotels begin to fill.
