Bracket Still Under Construction
 The official drawing for the 2011 Trojan Horse Tournament did occur as planned this past Sunday, however we were only able to draw for the 15 Teams currently PAID. The open bracket slots were simply assigned numbers which will be assigned teams on a "first come, first served" basis (determined by postmark on the incoming Entry Fees). These late entry fees, in conjunction with a wide variety of variables (i.e. field changes, conflicts in schedule, division determinations, etc.) has held up the posting of the preliminary Brackets/Game times). Please bare with us while we work through these issue and hope to have them resolved as soon as possible. Please tell all your coaches, players, parents, and fans an eNews update will be sent out as soon as it is ready and posted online. We currently have SEVEN teams were are still waiting on payment and once those are in that will only leave three other openings. Interested Teams can still Apply Online, but the MUST ACT QUICKLY TO SECURE ONE OF THOSE LAST SPOTS. |

"That State Up North" makes an Entry
Each year we hear from several Michigan teams, however we have yet to have one journey down and enter the Trojan Horse...until now. This year the Richmond Bulls (Richmond, MI) will stampede into town with their State's first entry. The Bulls belong to the Thumb Area Football League (TAFL) that include opponents such as: Algonac, Anchor Bay, Cros-Lex, Port Huron and Yale. Even though this is their State's first entry, the Center Grove Trojans proved last year that can be a good thing. The question is, will the Bulls be as successful? Regardless of how they do, we are honored for them to make the trip across State lines and they are a much welcomed addition to this years event. |

Wolves in the Hunt
Another first year entry it the Allen East Wolves of Harrod, OH. The Wolves are part of the Junior Buckeye League and include opponents such as: Shawnee, Cairo, Bath, and Wapak. The Bobcats of Cairo attended the Trojan Horse a few years back and held their own - now we are eager to see what these Wolves from Allen East have to offer. |

Hotels continue to fill and they will only become more scarce and expensive as the Tournament date draws closer. This year we are proud to announce Alliance Tour & Travel as "The Official Travel Partner for The Trojan Horse". Alliance will be your personal assistant for all your Hotel Reservations and will be offering special Group Rates for anyone that books hotel rooms Tournament weekend. Please note, special group rates may NOT be available by calling any of the local hotels direct.
As Tournament time continues to get closer, it is highly recommended you book your rooms early before the local hotels begin to fill. |
