Excitement Begins to Build
 With most youth football seasons just underway, many teams are already thinking post-season. Currently the 2011 Trojan Horse has ten teams that have submitted an Online Team Application and four of those have already received an Official Invited, paid, and are locked in to this year's event. Phone calls and emails continue to increase daily and there are dozens of teams expressing interest. Be sure to get your Team entered before this year's Trojan Horse fills. |

The Generals March Back into Town
 The Anthony Wayne Generals, from Whitehouse, Ohio; make their 3rd appearance to the Trojan Horse. The Generals are made up from select players from the Anthony Wayne Youth Football League. The boys in Blue and White were knocked out in TRIPLE OVER TIME to one of the Troy Teams, but came back last year to take 3rd in the AA Division. If History continues for these Generals, they could actually be poised for a 1st or 2nd place finish this year. |

Cougars are on the Prowl Again
 These Cougars from Van Wert, Ohio are also a familiar face to the Trojan Horse and are part of the Wester Ohio Youth Football League (WOYFL). These cats and the WOYFL have been welcome addition to the Tournament over the years and other League entries have included: Elida, Parkway, and Crestview (the '08 Trojan Horse Champions). Van Wert has been part of the legendary "Iron Horse" game two years running, but has come up short both times. However, anyone who has participated in the Trojan Horse, knows that "Iron Horse" game is one of the longest paths in the Tournament Bracket. Will 2011 be the year the Cougars claw through the top bracket or fight their way back to a "Iron Horse" victory? |

Lock In Early and Save
 Any returning Football Teams receive an automatic invite and can go ahead and send in their Team Entry Fee and save $50.00 while securing their spot in this year's Tournament. This year's Team Entry Fee is only $350 (for a roster of no more than 25 players and $10 extra a player for maximum of 35), however the Fee goes up to $400 after October 1st, 2011 (provided there is still room in this year's Tournament). Any NEW Teams that would also like to take advantage of these savings need to Apply ASAP to taken into consideration for an invitation to this year's event.
Any/all Entry Fee Checks can be made out to "Troy Little League Football, Inc." and mailed to: PO Box 707, Troy, OH 45373. Be sure to put the name of your city/team in the memo field. |
