Namibia - The Perfect Alumni Adventure
Herero woman - G Healey

This past Sunday marked Heroes' Day in Namibia. Heroes' Day, also known as Namibia Day, celebrates and pays homage to the heroes and heroines of Namibia's war of independence.

Rich culture and history are just one aspect of a visit to Namibia.  This Southern African country has amazingly diverse attractions, from seemingly empty desert landscapes where you might be lucky to find desert-adapted elephant and rhino, to the world's tallest sand dunes.  Namibia has fantastic wildlife and a dramatic, desolate coastline.  It holds the largest remaining population of cheetah in Africa, and it is home to the Earth's only remaining rhino population that roams freely outside of a national park or reserve.

Okonjima cheetah II - G HealeyA visit to Namibia is perfect for an alumni traveler. We have several itineraries on offer, or we can customize a trip just for you. Diverse Namibia is a wallet-friendly group trip that hits Namibia's highlights over 10 days.  Visit the dunes, the coast, the desert and Namibia's most famous park.  We even have a special on this trip if you book and travel before the end of October.

Some would argue that seeing Namibia by air is the ultimate way to experience the country.  Our Namibia Skies and Dunes safari fits the bill for those who want an aerial twist to their visit.  You can cover more ground in less time, as well as appreciate the vastness of the landscapes below.

However you cut it, Namibia is the perfect destination for the experienced African traveler.  Explore some place new and rediscover what brought you to Africa in the first place!
