Greetings!
  Kili Climb

At 19,340 feet, Mount Kilimanjaro can seem insurmountable, but we at Africa Adventure Consultants know how to plan a safe climbing experience and to give you the best chance of reaching the top. Those who climb Kili will explore lush forests, giant heather, and alpine deserts while collecting a lifetime of memories along the way. On the summit - Uhuru Peak - trekkers gaze down on Tanzania, Kenya and seemingly the whole continent to learn why this is called the 'Roof of Africa'.

We are proud to offer several high-quality Kili climbs on the Machame, Rongai, Umbwe and Lemosho routes. While most of our treks are private trips, we also offer scheduled group departures.  On our group trips, you can explore the Rongai  or Shira routes, both of which require a high level of fitness.  Schedule your trip during the full moon to have an even more memorable adventure.

Every trek is staffed with excellent and experienced guides, helpful porters and skilled chefs. You can count on comfortable sleeping tents, warm dining tents and private bathroom tents. Learn more about trip details here, or call us to talk directly with someone about this challenging but rewarding experience.  Hope to see you on the mountain!

Tanzania Walking Adventures

Maasai Warrior - Dana AllenNot feeling ready for Kili yet?  Or maybe you've done it and enjoyed the adventure of Africa on foot so much that you'd like to add another experience to your catalog of memories.  We've got lots of walking adventures in Tanzania to whet your appetite.

Check out our Tanzania Maasai Adventure, where you can combine cultural walks with a trek up Mount Longido.  It's a great add-on to any camping safari.  Or maybe a walking safari is more your speed; our Selous Walking Safari will fit the bill with 5 days of fly-camping in Africa's largest game reserve.  Our Tanzania Adventure Trek will get you well off the beaten path and give you a special walking experience with a donkey train and an optional evening Longai climb (requires excellent fitness).

Whatever your bipedal wishes, we can help create the perfect trip for you.  Call us to arrange your walking adventure.
